Una banda emblemática y que no le es ajena a nadie, formada a principio de los 90s en inglaterra, la cual hizo su debut con el impresionante álbum "Madra" (1991) en el cual se interpretaban a solamente tres voces (sin instrumentos!!!) madrigales del siglo XVII inspirados en el folclore británico. El trío ( Katharine Blake, Kelly McKuster y Jocelyn West) fue fichado por el gran sello independiente Mute records y para su segundo mini álbum "iris", se incorporaron el guitarrista Ben Golomstock y el baterista Trevor Sharpe, empezando a fusionar elementos del rock gótico con el neoclásico.

De ahí en adelante , la banda tendría constantemente cambios en la formación, permaneciendo siempre bajo la batuta de la bellísima Katharine Blake.
